Trout Distributions. Customer Pickup. Stocking your pond with Brook, Rainbow or Brown Trout is recommended during the spring, while the water is still cold. Spring stocking allows the trout to become acclimated to their environment during the summer and fall months, before the dormant winter season approaches.
